Seymour Heights Play-Based Programs is a place to build community with other families and develop friendships that will support you and your children for years to come. It is a place to nurture your child’s development and strengthen your bond as a family.
At a parent participation preschool – the parents are the decision makers and keep the school running smoothly.
Each family is responsible for a job of their choice (check out the fun list below for some examples). For many parents, this job is an opportunity to try something new, indulge in an interest, or take initiative and build marketable skills. Morning Program families also take turns supporting in the classroom and involve in the day-to-day operations of the school.

Parents with children enrolled in the Morning Program will be responsible for 2-3 duty days per month. This means coming in and working hands-on with all of the children during the regular school day. Helping at the school you’ll meet other parents, get to know the children and best of all, be directly involved in the early education of your child.
This is also a place for you to learn and grow as a parent.
We all have questions about our children as they grow and we all need support to navigate the challenges we face as families. Our General Meetings feature top educational speakers and workshops on child development and family life. As a community we get stronger together, deepening our understanding of our little ones and becoming healthier and happier families. Our parents universally agree that the regular Parent Education sessions are invaluable and one of the greatest benefits of being at Seymour Heights Play-Based Programs.
