Seymour Heights Play-Based Programs has been an integral part of the community since 1957 with over 25 years at its current location. It has always been and will always be a place for families to come together, to bond over shared values and be a part of their child’s education. SHPBP is about more than early childhood education. Parent Education Night: Body Science

This foundation-setting session will show parents how to overcome embarrassment when talking to young children about sexual health, with words and concepts that are easy to use. The content covered will guide parents in how to educate children as they discover their bodies and feelings, and will communicate how to effectively answer the questions they are sure to ask. Using humor and straight talk in an open, interactive environment, we’ll show you how easy it is to convey healthy, meaningful messages about sexual health.

Parent Education Night: Risky Play

Come learn about why it is so important for kids to take risks while they are growing and developing. We will explore how to help children learn to identify, discuss and manage risks- to support their physical, social and emotional development. And, we will discuss how parents and educators can know when things are just too risky as well as how to spot the hazards and remove them from your home or organization.

2019 Mosaic of Love Community Event

Please join us for our annual Mosaic of Love Community Event and Open House on February 2nd, 2019! This is a fun-filled family event that will include a magic show, balloon twisting, face painting, games, crafts, 50/50 draw, bake sale and a baby & kids toy and gear sale.  Entry to the event is by donation and proceeds will go to support the Ronald McDonald House.  At the same time, the preschool will be hosting an open house, so feel free to take a walk next door and check us out!
