About Seymour Heights Play-Based Programs

Our school has been an integral part of the North Vancouver community since 1957 with over 25 years at its current location.

Tucked into the woods between Ron Andrews Community Centre and Windsor High School, Seymour Heights Play-Based Programs is about more than early childhood education.

We value our relationship with the families in our neighbourhood and together strengthen the next generation.

We offer outstanding learning opportunities based on the Learning Through Play philosophy as the children explore our beautiful classroom and adventurous playground. By participating in our Parent Participation Preschool your family will build community and grow together, learning more about each other and the families around you.

He will be well supported emotionally and intellectually. She will learn about herself and develop life-long friendships. Our school offers an enriched environment that gives both parents and children the opportunity to learn and grow. This is a place for parents who value their child’s education and want to be a part of it.

This is a place for parents who care.

“What the best and wisest parent wants for his own child, that must the community want for all its children.”
~ John Dewey
